July 13th is our faith community’s Serve Day. This year we will be working in large teams at several of the Greeley parks. We will gather at Monfort Park at 8 am and work at our sites from 9 to noon. A lunch at Zoe’s Café will follow. You can now sign up on the church website. Pick up a t-shirt at the Welcome Center and return it after the event.

The Genesis Project of Northern Colorado would like to thank Cornerstone for hosting the Genesis High Tea. The tea raised over $16,000 to support single moms and their children. We appreciate the many volunteers who made this event so successful. We are so blessed to have Cornerstone as our neighbors. Thank you!

International Neighbors-Greeley: A few weeks ago Pastor Don shared with us his anticipated transition in two months to 3/4 time working with international people in Greeley who have had a refugee experience. Don’s metaphor to describe this calling came from Acts 8 when Philip was told to “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” Don’s heart and calling is to mobilize followers of Jesus to “stay near” this community so that as our international neighbors struggle with life and need help, they will ask us. Please prayerfully consider praying, volunteering or supporting him financially in this work. For more information contact the church office or visit the International Neighbors-Greeley website ingreeley.org.

Angel Tree Help Needed
Cornerstone has participated in the Prison Ministry Fellowship’s Angel Tree program for years. This program provides Christmas gifts for children of incarcerated parents. Most of the work for this takes place in October and November. I need someone to partner with me this year in order for our church to participate. Churches are being registered now; please contact me if you are interested in helping, Shaunda Gaffney-Barile (970) 590-2591. Thank you.

Children’s Worship Responses
Every week in children’s church, our children have a chance to respond to God through arts and crafts. This is a free response time that gives children the chance to listen to the voice of God and respond. We also do this once a month as a group response. This semester’s art is displayed around the church for the next two Sundays for all to enjoy. Praise God for the ways children see our Savior!

Grandparenting Class meets in the Youth Room from 9:45am- 10:45am, Today’s video discussion topic is: “How to Pass Faith to Future Generations” (Cavin Harper). Questions? Contact Paul Wilson (paulwilson4872@gmail.com) or John Coleman (jcoleman0057@msn.com).
