Our multi-stylistic, multi-generational music helps to lead our congregation into a thoughtful, Christ-centered worship experience.

Open to musicians of all levels, we work hard to lead in worship with excellence. Driving this work is a deep heart’s desire to use music to communicate the rescue, restoration, and release available to all people through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have a multi-stylistic approach that blends contemporary with traditional.  On any given Sunday, you could hear hymns accompanied by our pipe organ set right beside familiar contemporary songs led by our praise band.  Gospel, handbell choir, classical/ traditional, choral anthems, and the best of modern music are all at Cornerstone as we celebrate the joy of Jesus for all people.

Everyone is Welcome

Worship music is an experience meant for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest of God’s people.  For this reason, the children’s choir (1st through 5th grade) and the youth ensemble (6th through 10th grade) regularly help lead worship alongside the praise band and adult choir.  Our programs are multi-generational and meant to develop and draw on musical talent at all ages and levels.  All are welcome to participate.

Chancel Choir

Open to people 11th grade and older, the Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and sings each Sunday from August through June. The Chancel Choir is featured in our annual “Christmas at Cornerstone” concert. Besides Holy Week and Easter celebrations, the choir also has sung a variety of major works and in other creative music and worship events.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir is open to people high school age and above and rehearses each week September through May. The Handbell Choir is highlighted in our “Christmas at Cornerstone Concert” and adds to worship and other special events throughout the year.

Choirs for Children and Youth

Children’s Choir is for 1st through 5th graders and meets on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

Audio/Visual Tech Team

The AV Team is essential to our Sunday morning worship. They manage the sound and video needs for our Sunday Morning services and some special events.  We rely on volunteers, who receive training, to assist and lead from “behind the scenes” each week.
